In this webinar Mary Van Der Merwe will explore pathological demand avoidance (PDA) in the classroom.

Mary, Neurodivergent CYP Practitioner (Parenting Special Children), joins us to look at PDA and how it can present in school settings.

Mary will provide some classroom strategies for supporting pupils with PDA, discuss the importance of autonomy and explore the benefits of taking a collaborative approach between school, parents and pupil. Additionally this session will provide information on PDA and EHCPs.

This webinar will be helpful for education professionals and anyone parenting or caring for a child with (or suspected to have) PDA.
