The Hub is dedicated to providing online support, focused eLearning and information for adopters, special guardians, foster carers and the professionals working to support them.
As an adopter or foster carer, our resources will complement your training to give you a richer understanding of child development, the impact of trauma and therapeutic parenting making sure you are as prepared as possible to be the parent or carer of a child who has had adverse childhood experiences.
We cover topics that will help you nurture your child from the transition into your family, through the toddler days, education and the teenage years.
For professionals, such as teachers, education staff, therapists and social workers we have a huge range of webinars and podcasts that can be used for CPD and will help you to support the children and families you work with.
These modular courses cover issues such as attachment and parenting with PACE and understanding the impact of trauma on students. These short modules can be completed in any order and at a time that suits you.
Our popular webinars can be viewed live or watched back at a time that suits you. They cover a wide range of topics hosted by subject experts and members of our Hub community.
Our forums are a safe space for adopters and special guardians to ask questions or share tips with people who understand.
Our webchat service is only available to adopters at the moment. Our trained peer adopter volunteers are online and ready to support you.
You’ll find quality-assured resources and information on a range of key topics all in one place.
CATCH (formerly The Adopter Hub) is provided by Parents And Children Together (PACT), an adoption charity and family support provider. PACT is rated as outstanding by Ofsted and has been building and strengthening families since 1911. As a result of our many years of experience supporting adopters, we understand how important it is to ensure that support is available to our adoption and special guardian community at a time that works for them.
The Hub couldn’t exist without our partners and the generous support from our fundraisers and donors.
