Live webinar: More than coping – Your mental health matters too

This webinar gives the chance for a pause, a reflect, and maybe the beginnings of understanding where you are right now. You don’t need to find all the answers. Just come with a willingness to be curious about your own wellbeing, and to give yourself an hour.

Adoption changes everything — your identity, your routines, your relationships, your sense of self. And while your mental health is considered throughout the process, one question is often asked but rarely truly answered: how are you doing — really? Finding things hard in the middle of something genuinely hard is not a sign that something is wrong with you, it means you’re normal.

This webinar is for adoptive parents at any stage in their adoption journey and practitioners.

“I found this session incredibly useful. It validated my feelings and the things that I’m finding difficult… So much of what was said resonated with me. It was refreshing to listen to a webinar that I could really relate to and take comfort from!”

This webinar is hosted by Sophie – an adoptive mum and a CBT and EMDR therapist specialising in therapeutic support for adoptive parents.
