Supporting children and young people as they navigate the complexities of friendships and relationships is a primary concern for many parents and carers. This two-part series will provide a comprehensive, trauma-informed guide to fostering healthy connections throughout a child’s development.
In this first part Nerys looks at the essential building blocks of social interaction. She talks about how to build deep, secure foundations of connection and belonging, and how to navigate the transition from early childhood connections to the more complex dynamics of middle childhood. Nerys also provides real-world strategies to help teach children about protecting information and setting clear boundaries.
This webinar is aimed at parents and carers of young children to pre-teens. In part-two Nerys will cover the teen years.
