Simon Benn

Simon was adopted when he was five weeks old. He was always aware he was adopted and wasn’t conscious of any trauma, until he found out that the teddy bear he’d had for 40 years was a gift from his birth mother.

This unleashed an eruption of anger, feeling rejected and unloved, which led to a quest to heal, healing and a desire to help others.

Simon has interviewed over 500 adoptive parents, adoptees, birth mothers and adoption professionals over the last 4 years and has run webinars for many, many more. His sole purpose is to understand what helps adoptees thrive and to share that with others. Visit Simon’s website: Thriving Adoptees.
