Responses from our December feedback survey

Thank you to everyone who responded to our survey in December, we send out these surveys to all our Hub members every six months to get feedback on our service and to inform our content plan for the coming year.

We’ve added your topic suggestions to our content plan, so this year we’ll be adding more resources on race and identity, early days of adoption, different therapies, additional needs, the teenage years and education to our list of hot topics.

In response to some of the questions that were raised in the last survey:

61% of people who answered our survey hadn’t ever used CATCH resources as evidence of learning or Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Practitioners and education professionals – we’re adding learning outcomes to our resources to make using our eLearning modules, webinars and reports as evidence of CPD as easy as possible.

Adopters in training – remember that you can use Hub resources to complement your training and as evidence of learning for Panel.

Webinars and resources

Some Hub members fed back that they forgot about their Hub access or missed webinars that they would have attended –

All live webinars are made available on the Hub within a day or two, so you can watch them at a time that suits you. We send out an email every week to let our members know what’s coming up. You can sign up to it on your homepage if you don’t receive these or contact us: catch@pactcharity.org

You can also follow our social media pages to see what’s coming up on the Hub: Twitter icon Instagram icon Facebook icon

Another member commented that it was sometimes difficult to find the newest resources on the Hub –

We highlight new resources on your homepage, so remember to scroll to the ‘Webinars, videos and audio’ section where you’ll be able to register for upcoming webinars or see what’s new. All resources are listed chronologically, so the newest resources will be at the top of the page when you visit the Resources page.

Hub members told us they wanted information in different formats –

This year we are launching podcasts, introducing more audio content and will be looking at producing shorter more easily digestible videos.

In other news

The change from The Adopter Hub to CATCH – In 2022 we changed our name to reflect our expanding audience as our members now also include practitioners, education professionals, foster carers and special guardians. We haven’t lost The Adopter Hub altogether and adopters will still see ‘Welcome to The Adopter Hub’ on their homepage when they log in.

Confidence in using CATCH – If you would like to join a short Zoom demo or arrange one for your team to better understand how to use the Hub please email our Digital Partnerships Executive Ray Vernon

We rely on feedback from our members – We’d love to hear from you if there’s a topic you’d like us to cover or if you have a comment on our service. Also, please do get in touch if you’d like to be involved or share your story through a blog post, interview or podcast (this can be completely anonymous): catch@pactcharity.org
